Programming Director ~ 2011-2012

This year we will be bringing back the Matsuricon Pokemon Championship.  However, we happen to be a little short on Gym Leaders.  Were we to open auditions, might we have some attendees out there who would be willing to step up to the plate for a comped badge?  We specifically need people who are willing to be as absolutely EPIC as our staffer, Rob.  Some of you might remember him from his tour as the Poison Gym Leader last year:

The challenge is played using the Nintendo DS and Pokemon Black/White's Flat Battle system.

I might be interested in this but do you have to specialize in a certain type to be a gym leader?

I was told we would have to specialize in a certain type. But Im not sure which types are being accepted or if we get to choose our types or if they choose our types (either way is fine for me)

All gym leaders must specialize in a single type.  Your team may consist of 3 to 5 pokemon.

With the flat battle system all Pokemon are evened out to level 50.

So we wont have to worry about pokemon levels then?

might I make a suggestion? Could you make the gym leaders easier to find? It is a big con and some people might have trouble finding these  guys. I know you gave us a piece of paper last year. maybe you could have someone design some badges and then you could make a pin that they wear on their shirt.
