Hey everyone. I just realized we hadn't even started an introduction thread. I don't believe there should be any restrictions on the information you want to present in your introduction, so we'll just follow an open policy.
I guess I'll start then. ^.^;;
I'm Ryan Macy, Operations Director for Matsuricon 2012 and I couldn't be more excited about it. I'm 23 years old, I live with my girlfriend Crystal, two cats, and as of tomorrow a hedgehog. My cats are named FleshEater, and Zombie. The hedgehog's name hasn't been decided yet. I'm vegan, but I respect all choices of life. Currently I am a full time student at Ivy Tech and I work full time at Target. My favorite anime of pretty much all time is Toradora! even though I'm a huge Gundam fan. I'm also into Kamen Rider pretty intensely.. like people who are intense about Doctor Who.. that's how intense I am about Kamen Rider. You'll probably see me wearing multiple belts around Matsuricon. XD
I'm looking forward to seeing you all at Matsuricon this year!!

My name is Angela Woolsey. I am 33 years old and a long-time anime fan. 2012 will be my second time to Matsuricon. I like a lot of anime, but my top two are Dragon Ball Z and Lupin Sansei.
I'm a flexitarian, an individual that eats a largely vegetarian diet and smaller quantities of meat. I love martial arts and try to respect people for who them are. I am an Asian-cuture buff. I love computers, sci-fi/fantasy and the furry fandom (I draw the art, not wear the suits).
I am an Electronic Media major and maintain several websites for voice actor/artist, Sonny Strait. I know him and fellow VA, Kyle Hebert well. I met both in 2001/2002 as a regular on their website forums/chats. At the time, Sonny's old webperson stepped down and he was in need of someone to replace her. Having played around with HTML since the year 2000, I stepped up to the plate.
At Matsuri, I plan on working in the Artist Alley with my friend, Jackie. Together we sell original and fanart commissions, as well as character badges.
I recently graduated from Ohio University and work as a host at the Olive Garden. I'm working on my resume and portfolio in order to find a job in my field. That is my goal for 2012. My dream job would be to work at FUNimation in their ADR department doing audio syncing. For my last college project, I dubbed a short clip from the 1971 Lupin series using the vocal talents of my friends and my dad. Although clearly a first time dub, it shows a lot of potential. Even if I don't get on with FUNi, I just hope to have a job where I'm happy.

Hi everyone. My name is Lisa. I'm 25, and I live in Charleston, West Virginia. I work part time at Toys R Us. This will be my second year at Matsuricon. My favorite anime and franchise of all time, is Pokemon. I have a HUGE collection of Pokemon plushies, figures, T-shirts, DVDs, and cards. Haha, I'm probably the biggest Pokemon fan you'll ever meet!! XD Besides Pokemon, I also like anime such as Kyo Kara Maou, Great Teacher Onizuka, and Slayers. For the most part, I watch pretty obscure anime. Right now, I'm currently watching The Irresponsible Captain Tylor, Genshiken, and Bakuman (I got the first volume of Bakuman). My favorite voice actor is Veronica Taylor. She's my idol. And I've talked to her at many cons, so we're basically friends now. As far as gaming goes, I like the Pokemon games. But my favorite game genre is actually platform (or action-adventure). I love the old school platform games, like Crash Bandicoot and Spyro The Dragon.

My name is also Angela. I am 23 and, of coarse, I love anime! This will only be my second year at Matsuricon, but I have been to Ohayocon for the last five years. Since Matsuricon moved to the Hyatt I have actually been able to go to it, which makes me quite happy! ^.^ I hope to enter the amv contest this year - last year's was really good!

Hey!! The name is Jessie and I am 20 but will be 21 before Matsuricon though Just like everyone else here I love anime and video games. Some of my top favorite animes are Sgt. Frog, Nana, and Black Butler. There are definitely more but don't feel like trying to type them all out XD. My top favorite video games are Final Fantasy VII Crisis Core, Legend of Zelda OoT, and Mario Party. This will be my first Matsuricon but I have been to other cons before many times such as Sugoi, Ikasucon, and Ohayocon. I looove going to cons and cosplaying. What I am planning on going as is Toon Link and female trainer from Pokemon Diamond/Pearl. I am looking forward to this very much even though it is still a while away sadly. But hope to meet some pretty awesome people this year.

Hey all~
My name is Shay and I live in Martinsville Indiana. I'm 22 and am currently going to IUPUI as a creative writing major. I love to write, mostly fiction of course. I used to write a lot of fanfiction and if I'm stuck on anything I'm writing for class, I jump back into it, but I don't post any of it anymore. I have owned so many different animals it makes me wish I could just have a farm. I've had dogs (current is a brown lab), Cats (2 currently), I used to own about 7 ducks, and I've gone through a lot of chickens. Cooking with fresh eggs is the best. My dream pet is a cow. No joke. I have loved anime since before I knew what anime was (so about.... 17 years ^_^). I have so many favorites but I guess I can pick a few top series: Blue Exorcist, Black Butler, Fullmetal Panic, Sgt. Frog, Baccano, Durarara, Hetalia... so many~
Matsuricon will be my first out of state con. I've been to Anime crossroads every year since they started back in 2009 (it was also my first convention!) and I made the trip up to Ramencon with some friends last summer. I have a lot of chat friends from Team Haberkorn going to Matsuricon, even one from Texas, and so that's why I'm coming! I'm looking forward to it. Going to a new convention is always so exciting since I haven't been to many~

Hello,
On the internet I am InternalChair the chairman of all things internal, oh and this thing called Matsuricon. I haven't an age as I am the God of Matsuricon. I am the alpha to your omega the way and the truth of anime cons.
But in reality I'm Tristan Carter a Junior/Senior at Champlain College studying Electronic Game Art and Animation. I used to live in the midwestern area, but now I inhabit the northern regions of New Hampshire. If it wasn't obvious yet I am this year's Internal Convention Chairman for Matsuricon, a job that carries a lot of responsibility and management. In reality it's our director's and other staff that are doing the truly hard work of running the convention. I just make sure they're doing the right things and staying on task. As far as my favorite animes/manga go there's a very long list, most of which are older titles. I have yet to find an anime that has been made in the last few years that has truly caught my attention. However, I'm a much larger fan of video games than anything else, and that's an industry that is truly shining. I used to cosplay a while back when I had time for such things, but with how busy my life's become recently, I likely won't get the chance anytime soon.
If there's anything you wish to know about the con, or any questions you may have concerning various matters don't hesitate to ask me.

Hello! My name is Margaret, and this will be my first Matsuri convention I have become annoyed at Ohayocon and the disappointments they deliver the last two times I have gone. My friend Mindy(writer of White Noise webcomic) recommended this con as a substitute, and I look forward to seeing what you have to offer I already like how the guest list is shaping up and hope to see some awesome panels as they get announce later on I am 32yrs old and a long time fan of anime, since I saw Sailor Moon back in the 80's/90's My first Con was ACEN in Chicago back in 1999. I love magical girl or guy shows and a scattering of many others. Sailor Moon, Rayearth, Tenchi Muyo, Fushigi Yugi, Utena, Dragonball Z, Bleach, Ouran Host Club, High School of the Dead, Devil Hunter Yohko, Familiar no Zero, Kazuma no Stigma, and recently Madoka Magica to name just a few of my favorites I live just west of Columbus, so if all goes well this could well be my new local convention to go to every year, I look forward to it!
