To officially answer your question, this guest announcement has nothing to do with what is going on with the website. Ooh, that's interesting. Indeed. Do the sound clues on the site have anything to do with any guest announcement? Sieg Zeon...? You ain't getting anything else from me, see! Since I don't know what else it could be, I'm gonna jump onto the "heero is the guest not known really for anime" bandwagon (This year's Tristan; I sadly haven't gotten my DVDs signed by him) and that the guest announcement which depends on Facebook likes is one of the 2 other unknown guests. Gundam Wing can't be the theme of the con, that's already taken (or so I think), so if it isn't a cryptic clue for the mystery guest than I've run out of ideas. If it was Nolan North, which would be AWESOME btw, the first clue would be an image of a chimichanga with a pineapple hiding in thethe background lol Now that I think about it, that would have been too easy. I had forgotten who Nolan North was as I'm not an Uncharted fan. I'm not sure if I'm familiar with anything else that he's done. So, what does getting a certain number of Likes on Facebook do for matsuricon? Not being on it I don't know these things. If it is any consolation, funimation didn't reach its goal for Facebook likes either |

Nolan North is actually rather ubiquitous actor. Take a look.Also, Social Media can be a cruel and unpredictable mistress. Looking at the fairly lengthy biography (which has a fairly high number of bit roles) I'd call him a prolific actor, sure, but "ubiquitous" would be pushing it. Besides Uncharted, I don't see any rolls on there with which I am familiar.  If he does attend matsuricon I could get a copy or 2 of Uncharted signed, but that's about it. Unlike Hale he isn't in a whole slew of games that I enjoyed. Getting games signed is rather difficult for me in the age of digital distribution (downloads and streams can't be signed, and it's their greatest weakness IMO). Though if he actually is attending, that's awesome. I don't want my lamentations to be misinterpreted as me ragging on his potential appearance. EDIT:Ugh, he was Deadpool in mvc3u?! The most annoying character in one of the most annoying recent fighting games? Well, that's brutal. Maybe I could get it signed "ironically" (as the hipsters say)... |
