Yes, yes I do.

And yes: They’re better when hidden in plain sight.

Well, if it's any consolation I found the hidden text myself before seeing it in this thread.  I'm glad that I did as if I hadn't found it I'd have no clue as to what is going on here (as it stands I have only the faintest of clues lol).  I also just finished watching the USA show by the same name Wink

I didn't find the secret link to Recliner Man's hidden video (I'm glad you used the much-superior original opening song), but I'm working on it....slowly.  Grin

These hidden website clues are far from my forte.  I was humbled last weekend by them over on The Anime Network too Sad

You know, I just bought and watched the Limited Edition dvd of this with the interview with Juiliani today in anticipation for getting it signed by James "Kira" Moriarty next weekend.  I'm late to the party as I only got around to seeing the show late last year, believe it or not (I thought it was going to be another generic shounen and I was watching FMA at the time...I was wrong, and glad to be as I'd put this as in my personal Top 10 anime).

So now I think we have even more questions now than we did before.  I'll consider that to be a good thing.

I don't remember him saying this in the show.  Did he say it, and if so, do you remember when?

That was just my own personal response to one of L's famous quotes...

...To obfuscate guest announcements? I don't think that you do as I still haven't found the DN opening link, though admittedly now that it had been found my motivation to look is decreased.

But if you're saying that you have to try harder to produce an awesome guest list for 2012, well, I'm not sure that's possible as you're already getting close to having too much awesomeness to handle. Though I'm all for matsuricon trying to cram in more awesome guests. If there is a limit to how much awesome the Hyatt Regency and convention center can handle, I'm all for seeing if it can be reached. Someone has to do it, and matsuricon's January counterpart doesn't want to step up to the challenge Wink

Say, now that we've cleared up one mystery (I think), what about the Gundam Wing clues?  Grin

Only time will tell. Who knows, maybe we'll get hints for something completely different in the near future.

I'm all for it. Guessing keeps the con fresh in my mind for the next few months.  I'm torn between wanting the con to post its whole guest list now or to keep hyping itself for a while longer.

It's the old instant burst of gratification vs. prolonged giddy anticipation argument.

Yep.  This also has the "I really don't want to spend time and money going to a really distant con only to see a much closer con announce the same guest" nail-biting problem.

I'm similarly torn that matsuricon announced that there are only 4 more VA guests, now 2. Even though we don't know for sure who they are, we know that there's a sort of "cap" on the con now. Though without knowing this, we couldn't have hypothesized as we did over the guests.  I really do wish that Shelley Black did cons, but whatevs.  I'm still stunned about L. It makes me want to rewatch the series and relive the awesomeness.

A guest who is really only known for one show, and it happens to be a show that I like. Normally I'm not this lucky Wink

To be fair, they haven't announced who is coming from Death Note yet. Heck, we could get Shannon Chan-Kent ([Misa] which I'd be completely fine with) for all we know.

Anyway, here was a post on a different thread:

Are there going to be anymore voice actors coming this year?

Yes. And a few surprises....?

This was after the Gundam & Death Note clues and the Samurai Dan & Jillian announcement. So, we can still speculate what could come...

P.S. You mentioned Shelley Calene-Black again. As I mentioned before, I'd like to meet her as well.
