Pre-Registration

Registration is open now for our 2026 convention! Buying online in advance secures your ticket and gives you the ability to pay with a card.

  • Badges must have your LEGAL first and last names attached as the Attendee Name. One badge per person, one name per badge. A Valid mailing address is also required to provide correspondence and return address.
  • A valid form of photo identification is REQUIRED to pick up your badge. Others cannot pick up your badge for you so we can protect you, the buyer, from theft. If the name on the ID and the Attendee Name do not match, we will not issue a badge.
  • For minors (ages 17 and under) we do need an ID card or a blood relative to verify their identity in person. ID cards can be issued by your local BMV for a small fee, or a school ID works as well for this particular instance.
  • You can Pre-Register up until 1 week before the convention. Badge prices will change throughout the course of the year, so be sure to buy early for the best price!

Buying at the Door

Weekend and Single Day badges can be purchased on site when you arrive. A valid form of photo identification is required during purchase. Credit Card holders will be directed to purchase directly online, while cash can be accepted at our cash table on site. Prices are as follows:

Weekend At Door: $80
Friday Only: $60
Saturday Only: $70
Sunday Only: $50

*Note! Should Matsuricon announce any Thursday night scheduled programming, these activities are included with any Weekend and Friday Only badge.

Children’s Badges

Children 3 years of age and under are free with the purchase of any adult badge. Children ages 4 through 13 qualify for our Chibi badge. Children on the con floor MUST be attended at all times with a badge holder or all badges will be revoked.

Accepted Forms of Identification

  • Any form of GOVERNMENT ISSUED identification works as long as the name on the ID matches the ticket order.
  • If you lack an ID, 2 forms of identification also qualify (Birth Cert, Social Security Card, ect)
  • Please email us if you have any concerns regarding your choice of identification.

Accessibility Services

Matsuricon prides itself on its ability to be accessible to all walks of life, so anyone can join the community in frolic and fun! Our accessibility services can be found in our Convention Operations room (Hyatt 2nd Floor, Morrow) and can assist with a wide variety of accessibility questions. General questions:

  • Does this id work? Only if it came from an established source (government, school)
  • Can I pick up my (xyz) badges for them? Nope. Each person has to check in with their own ID so we can register them properly.
  • I lost my badge! Go to Ops with your ID & confirmation email. If they can confirm your purchase they can re-issue your badge
  • A lost Badge has been Found: Just needs to be taken to Ops to be scanned. By a staffer, not the individual.
  • What days are my badges good for? Badges are good for any programming listed for that available date. Friday Only would get anything open from Midnight to 11:59pm on THAT Friday.
